
Resident Care Tech- Hillcrest (Casual Call, Variable Shift)

- American Heart Association BLS required within two (2) months of hire
- ServSafe required within two (2) months of hire
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year experience working in a customer service or hospitality role for high-end clientele
- One (1) year experience working as an aide or caregiver in an assisted living facility, long term care facility, skilled nursing facility, or hospital
- License/Certification: Medication Aide I License, Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, or Emergency Medical Technician certification.
- Accountable for coordinating care for residents with the nursing staff
- Implement the plan of care for residents established under direction of nursing staff, reporting observations and comments to nursing
- Obtain and record vital signs. Document I&Os as needed. Assist with other resident care duties as requested by nursing, including two-hour checks
- Provide medication assistance to residents under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse
- Demonstrate awareness of necessary safety precautions and promote safety when assisting residents with attendance at activities, appointments, and meals.
- Assist with setting up dining area and serving meals to residents, families, and guests.
- Demonstrates sound judgment, patience, and maintains a professional demeanor at all times
- Exercises tact, discretion, sensitivity, and maintains confidentiality
- Performs essential job functions successfully in a busy and stressful environment
- Learns current and new computer applications and office equipment utilized at Bozeman Health
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Analyzes, organizes, and prioritizes work while meeting multiple deadlines
- This role requires regular and sustained attendance.
- The position may necessitate working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts.
- On-call work may be required to respond promptly to organizational, patient, or employee needs.
