Job SummaryThe assistant director for technology and support systems serves as a key member of the Transportation Services leadership team, reporting to the DEPUTY director with primary responsibility for the leadership, administration, and oversight of all technology systems and support services, including all software, hardware, applications, and associated support personnel. Further, this position serves as technical liaison with other campus entities and external technology product and service vendors, researches industry trends and emerging technology, and recommends technology solutions and services focused on improving operational efficiencies, enhancing customer service or the customer experience, and reducing costs.IEBC (Internal Employee Being Considered).
Skills / Knowledge / AbilitiesThree years of experience managing and integrating technology support systems within a complex service-oriented business unit, or three years of experience managing and integrating parking and transportation specific applications in a university, municipal, or airport setting.

Preferred Education/ExperienceExpert knowledge of T2 Flex parking management system and peripheral hardware, experience delivering services in a customer service industry, demonstrated successful project management experience, and experience supervising staff consisting of multiple skill levels.
