ESA Section 7 Specialist

Evaluate Section 7 consultation requests and environmental documents under NEPA, CEQA, MSA, FWCA, and the Federal Power Act.Analyze effects of proposed actions on listed species and habitats; draft biological opinions and concurrence letters.Engage with agencies, tribes, and stakeholders to identify mitigation and conservation opportunities.Support Section 10 permitting and ESA recovery planning efforts.Maintain administrative records and input consultation data into ECO.Contribute to technical meetings, field visits, and cross-divisional teams.Prepare environmental documents and participate in habitat restoration planning.QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in biological science, fisheries, conservation biology, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience (graduate degree may substitute for experience).In-depth knowledge of ESA, NEPA, and West Coast anadromous species.Excellent communication and writing skills.Valid driver’s license.About LynkerLynker is a growing, employee owned, small business, specializing in professional, scientific and technical services.
