- Minimum 6+ years of experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) in AWS environment - Including provisioning, configuration, storage, and user management.
- Installing and maintaining Linux operating systems, their updates, and installing required software in cloud based Virtual Machines (VMs). (In Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Linux Administration LVM(Logical Volume Manager) administration, user management, Security Groups, security hardening e.t.c.,
- Experience of network fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, routing, switching, HTTP.
- Monitoring and optimizing performance for various services - OS resources (memory, CPU, disk IO), and platforms (Load balancers, AWS).
- Task automation of infrastructure and system administration related tasks.
- Ensuring the availability of Dev/Test environments (Linux based) for the project team. These environments will need to be operational, up to date, and accessible whenever the team needs to use them.
- Use of CI/CD tools to develop and implement automation solutions.
- Experience with GitHub, JIRA, and Microsoft tools.
- Administer Red Hat Linux Servers in Prod, Qual, Test and Development env.
- Monitor Red Hat Linux Servers in Prod, Qual, Test and Development env.
- Perform Operating system Patching.
- Perform upgrade of Operating System.
- Preparing test environments.
- User Management in Prod, Qual, Test and Development regions
- Creation of Servers through Cloud console or VMware console.
- Perform Hardening of Operating System as per recommendation from client.
- Work with application developers on the Linux platform for installation and maintenance in both development and production environments.
- Perform security analysis in Prod, Qual, Test and Development envir.
- Antivirus installation, configuration and maintenance.
- Migration of servers from on premise to Cloud and one cloud to other.
- Identification of current and potential problems, research viable options, and collaborate with other stakeholders to implement effective solutions.
- Proactively seeking out, collaborating, and establishing relationships with critical partners, such as multiple Scrum teams, Scrum Masters, Product Managers, and SMEs to facilitate the integration, coordination, and execution of work.
