- Place electronic components into printed circuit board following detailed instruction.
- Inspect and quality check own work and the work of others
- Ensure that products meet all customer and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate quality issues to the appropriate team and manager as needed.
- Contribute to a positive team working environment and maintain a clean and organized area.
- Assist in other departments as needed and participate in controlled process improvement projects.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Displays a high-level critical thinking, analysis, and organization.
- Demonstrated self-motivation, problem solving abilities, team spirit and a “hands on” mentality.
- Strong attention to detail and proficient communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
- Solid understanding of common manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and basic electronic component identification and board handling (PCBA).
- Effectively manipulate small and/or fragile components and tools.
- Ability to use visual aids, complicated drawings to verify quality products.
- Communicate in person, over the phone, email, internet or in writing in a positive, professional manner.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed to support production (daily and weekly).
- Normal color vision
- High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent
- Experience with pre wave processing
- IPC 610 certification
