Salary range: $85,000-$100,000
Location: Pittsburgh, PA or RemoteSeeking a Project Manager (Software) to oversee projects, ensuring seamless planning, execution, and delivery. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in project delivery end-to-end: scope, plan, execute, and launch SaaS features and implementations. You'll partner with engineering, product, and client stakeholders to deliver on time and within budget.Key Responsibilities:
- Plan & deliver: Build and manage project plans, schedules, budgets; drive execution across multiple concurrent projects.
- Client leadership: Run discovery, requirements workshops, status calls, and executive readouts; set clear expectations and success criteria.
- Scope control: Translate requirements into epics/stories; manage change requests, SOWs, approvals, and acceptance.
- Agile execution: Facilitate sprint ceremonies and release planning with Product and Engineering (.NET / Vue.js stack).
- Risk & quality: Proactively surface risks, own mitigation plans, and ensure testing/UAT and documentation meet contractual and compliance needs.
- Reporting: Track burn, earned value, and KPIs; provide concise weekly status and milestone reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
- Vendor & cross-team coordination: Orchestrate design, DevOps, security, and data migration efforts; coordinate third parties when needed.
- 4-8+ years managing software projects (SaaS or enterprise), including budgets, timelines, and client facing delivery.
- Strong command of Agile practices and tools (e.g., Jira or Azure DevOps), with the pragmatism to blend in waterfall/phase-gate when contracts require it.
- Comfortable with data migration, integrations, and releases in cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- PMP certification required (other certifications such as ITIL, CSM, CAPM, etc., are desirable).
