The clerk will also provide daily/weekly reports for Manager and or Management positions of shipping activities. Will coordinate shipping activities with sales and production personnel. The clerk will also fill in as a back up to create pallet tags as needed.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Types manifest, export papers and bills of laden in an accurate and timely manner.Schedules appointments with truck drivers to pick up orders.Will file and recall material in a standard filing system.May perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.Will work with a few different warehouses.Will work a lot with Excel.Receive inbounds in the CHLT systemQUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to do general mathematical functions using addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with high degree of accuracy.Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
