- Independently own the end-to-end design process, including user flow diagrams, wireframes, prototypes, and polished deliverables ready for engineering handoff.
- Conduct user research, discovery calls, and customer visits; synthesize findings into actionable insights to inform design decisions.
- Collaborate with Product Managers to define requirements and deliver solutions that meet both business goals and user needs.
- Work closely with Engineers, QA, and cross-functional partners to iterate quickly, refine ideas, and ensure smooth implementation.
- Participate in design reviews by presenting work, receiving feedback, and contributing to team-wide discussions on quality and best practices.
- Contribute to building a strong design culture that values collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- 5–7 years of experience in product design, with a strong focus on mobile products.
- Portfolio showcasing successful mobile product design from concept to launch, including case studies and prototypes.
- Expert proficiency in Figma, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of cross-platform UX/UI principles for iOS and Android, along with user research and usability testing experience.
- Familiarity with app store guidelines and best practices.
- Ability to leverage mobile analytics and user data to optimize experiences.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design rationale.
- Experience with AI tools that support ideation, prototyping, and synthesis.
- Understanding of front-end development basics (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Willingness to travel up to six times per year for meetings and customer visits.
- Bonus: experience in enterprise SaaS, commercial trades (HVAC, plumbing, electrical), or familiarity with tools such as Dovetail, UserVoice, and Jira.
- Competitive base salary of $110,000 – $140,000 plus bonus.
