You are a team player who has excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with other engineers located in different sites/time zones. Must be a quick learner, self-starter and be able to drive multiple tasks to completion.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Become a key stakeholder in power and performance definition process.
  • Develop and Execute performance characterization and optimization test plans for different usage scenarios (High performance compute, Machine learning frameworks, etc.).
  • Analyzing interactions between various power management features and optimize their configurations for performance.
  • Exploit core architecture bottlenecks to test and mitigate worst case scenarios.
  • Support prototyping experiments for improving current and implementing new features that impact performance.
  • Debugging and troubleshooting system-level issues that may occur in test environments and platforms.
  • Proactively driving continuous improvement for post-silicon performance activities.
  • Workload automation for performance data collection.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Proven leadership skills with experience mentoring junior engineers, coordinating cross-functional teams, and driving collaborative efforts across multiple sites to successfully deliver complex performance characterization and optimization projects.
  • Strong programming skills: Strong preference for Python, TensorFlow.
  • Desirable to be proficient in C or C++, PHP and Shell scripting.
  • Good understanding of computer organization/architecture.
  • Strong understanding of HPC and ML workloads.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a key attention to detail.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Software Engineering.
