Job DescriptionGet Involved!Samaritan's Purse is seeking a Field Service Project Supervisor who will perform the care of both interior and exterior glass, interior hard surface floors and preventative maintenance within our Facilities department. These duties will extend to multiple campuses including Boone, Blowing Rock, North Wilkesboro and Greensboro, NC. The ideal candidate will have experience in safely operating a forklift. We start each day with a time of devotions and spend time praying for each other and our staff and volunteers who serve around the globe.In the role of Field Service Project Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to:
  • Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
  • Perform quality assurance checks after each building is cleaned along with Housekeeping Manager of that campus, keeping detailed records of cleaning and maintenance and assisting Housekeeping Managers to prioritize work orders
  • Prioritize, forecast, and plan for needed equipment and supplies and work with the Assistant Director on budgeting and ordering timelines
  • Oversee overall interior and exterior window maintenance and cleaning to include removing cobwebs, clearing window sills, drying glass edge, and all glass surfaces to meet Ministry standards of excellence
  • Establish and provide a monthly calendar of work schedule to the Assistant Director of Housekeeping as well as monthly progress reports on projects within the department
  • Coordinate departmental workload with managers, including the scheduling of projects and staff
  • Determine type of window glass such as clear, reflective, or tinted, and ensure proper window cleaning technique and chemical or cleaning solution is used for each glass type
  • Operate aerial lift platforms and other lift equipment to reach the windows of high-rise buildings
  • Ensure that the company vehicle is adequately stocked with window cleaning supplies at all times
  • Clean work area thoroughly after each job to ensure that there is no residue or dirt left behind
  • Perform preventative maintenance as well as routine cleaning on equipment for windows, hard surfaces, lighting globes, and chandeliers
  • Maintain inventory of supplies used for glass and floors as well as other projects within the department
  • Follow policies and procedures of Samaritans Purse as set forth in the Policy Manual.
  • Attend daily morning devotions and participates in prayer support for the ministry, donors and volunteers.
  • Maintain a strong Christian witness to colleagues, vendors, charitable beneficiaries, and the general public.

  • High School diploma or GED and at least three (3) months related window cleaning experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid driver's license is required for this position
  • Previous experience operating a forklift is highly preferred. Must obtain and maintain forklift and scissor lift certification
  • Ability to lift or move up to 70 pounds
  • May be required to work evenings or weekends
