The Expeditor is responsible for coordinating the movement of materials and parts between vendors, customers, Parts Rooms, and production while keeping the Project Manager updated on material statuses and ensuring customer satisfaction.What you will be responsible for:
  • Track the status of materials/parts required, ordered, or under repair for the project.
  • Send out parts for exchange, core returns, and repairs.
  • Expedite the movement of parts between vendors, customers, Parts Rooms, and production.
  • Communicate material priorities to all parties involved.
  • Keep the Project Manager informed of material situations.
  • Maintain accurate records of material status throughout the project.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project.
  • Maintain inventory in the customers inventory system if required. Receive and Issue Parts. Update Rotable and repairable parts for customers system tracking.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned.
QualificationsWhat you will need to be successful in this role:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and or ability required.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
  • A minimum of 1 year of related experience and/or training is required.
  • Valid driver’s license and be able to obtain airport movement area clearance to operate company vehicles ramp side and around the local Oklahoma City to pick up parts when needed.
Physical Demands/Work Environment:While performing the duties of this job, the employee may frequently be required to sit, stand, bend, reach, and move around the facility. The work environment is typically in a warehouse setting. Candidates should be able to adapt to the physical demands and conditions of a traditional warehouse environment.
