- Develop and implement a comprehensive enterprise infrastructure architecture framework and strategy.
- Lead the design of high-quality, scalable software and hardware solutions that align with business objectives and long-term IT strategy.
- Create and maintain architectural documentation, including reference architectures, technical design documents, and technology position statements.
- Define functional attributes of infrastructure components, such as performance, throughput, availability, capacity, and security.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses and provide accurate effort and cost estimates for proposed solutions.
- Evaluate, recommend, and document commercial infrastructure software tools, platforms, and hardware.
- Research and incorporate industry best practices to solve business and technical challenges.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of IT infrastructure architecture standards and ensure consistent application across projects.
- Serve as a Technical Delivery Lead on infrastructure projects, overseeing successful execution and alignment with enterprise goals.
- Collaborate with the IT Infrastructure Senior Manager and cross-functional teams to ensure effective deployment of technology solutions.
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of critical production issues as required.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, standards, and change management procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure architecture, solution design, or related roles, preferably within a federal contracting environment.
- Proven experience designing and implementing IaaS solutions in enterprise settings.
- Strong understanding of enterprise systems, networking, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.), and security best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to lead architecture initiatives from concept to implementation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience developing technical documentation.
- Experience working in compliance-driven environments, with familiarity in NIST, FISMA, or other federal standards.
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect are a plus.
- Experience managing or working in classified environments.
- Familiarity with ITIL practices and enterprise change management processes.
- Prior experience interfacing with government stakeholders and supporting proposal or technical solutioning activities for federal contracts.
