- High school diploma plus the necessary amount of college or vocational education necessary for State of Wisconsin certification as master electrician.
- At least 6 years of practical experience of electrical work.
- Current knowledge of all codes and electronic training.
- Must know, understand, and be able to implement electrical theory and all codes pertaining to a health care environment.
- Have knowledge of operation of equipment and building layout.
- Ability to make decisions pertaining to proper techniques and methods of repairing and installing hospital equipment in a safe manner.
- Ability to read and interpret detailed schematics, blueprints and equipment wiring diagrams.
- Must be able to work well with others as part of a team.
