- Future C2 & Fires Capabilities: Assessing, experimenting with, and integrating novel C2 and fires capabilities in concert with other Air Force, service components, and Joint sponsors and projects.
- Data Operations / KM: Creating static and dynamic data architectures enabling PACAF warfighters timely access to accurate and actionable data across key PACAF operational use cases and mission sets.
- Mission-Focused M&S: Conducting timely modeling, simulation and analysis supporting PACAF long range kill chains, strike analyses, operational planning, and Agile Combat Employment (ACE) in concert with PACAF SMEs, other MITRE projects, and MITRE’s Cross-Cutting Urgent Innovation Cell (CUIC).
- ISR Capes & Data: Creating and implementing an executable ISR data strategy that integrates object-based production, track custody / fusion capabilities, automated collection orchestration, and cross-domain solutions.
- Typically BS in a technical discipline, such as Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Manufacturing, Computer), Physics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields; or a BA in International Relations, International Security, or similar fields and 5 years of related experience
- In limited cases, significant technical experience with identified project mission/domain focus areas will be accepted in lieu of a bachelor's degree so long as technically focused bachelor’s degree is currently in progress.
- Familiarity with DoD military missions
- Prior experience working day-to-day in government-controlled DoD spaces.
- Strong system-of-systems engineering experience across weapon systems and mission sets.
- Prior experience with US Department of Defense systems of systems integration.
- Effective and influential oral communications skills.
- Strong written and oral communications skills.
- Active Top Secret Clearance (in scope) required with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI
- This position requires a minimum of 50% hybrid on-site presence.
- Master’s degree in related field
- Active TS/SCI
- Current knowledge of mission domain modernization efforts and acquisition programs.
- Current knowledge of emerging technology being adopted into acquisition programs and/or the INDOPACOM theater.
- Prior experience with Department of the Air Force systems and missions.
- Prior experience support DoD Service Components, and/or Joint Operations
- Familiarity with MITRE project management processes, capabilities, and associated tools.
- Demonstrated capability for strategic planning and ability to provide actionable plans to government sponsors.
- Experience with and/or future interest in project and department leadership roles including project leader, task leader, and group leader
