- Respond to incoming phone calls, texts, web requests, and emails promptly and professionally.
- Make outbound calls to update and maintain business contact information.
- Greet clients in our Design Center, providing guidance on rental products.
- Consult with clients to understand their event needs, making tailored recommendations and identifying upselling opportunities.
- Create event layouts and ensure all details are accurately recorded.
- Follow up on quotes and leads in line with department goals.
- Develop and nurture relationships with new and existing clients to drive retention and repeat business.
- Proactively address and resolve customer concerns.
- Attend networking events, trade shows, and conferences to foster relationships with industry professionals.
- Travel to offsite locations as needed for client consultations.
- Engage with clients planning weddings, corporate events, fundraisers, and parties, ensuring all rental needs are met.
- Accurately enter and manage order details in rental software.
- Coordinate event logistics, including delivery, pickup, setup, and teardown, while occasionally assisting with these tasks as needed.
- Maintain clear, professional communication with customers and team members.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- The typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM. However, flexibility is expected based on client needs, and team members should be prepared to stay beyond scheduled hours as necessary to ensure successful event planning and execution
- Occasional after-hours and weekend shifts for client appointments, set-ups, or during high-demand seasons.
- Potential for overtime during our peak season.

- 1+ years of experience in customer service, sales, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid Ohio driver’s license (must meet company insurance requirements).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong typing skills and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Basic math skills, including fractions, percentages, and ratios.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs. and assist with event setups and teardowns as needed.
- Comfortable with upselling and closing sales.
- Strong multitasking, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Knowledge of the event or catering industry (preferred).
- Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
