- End-to-End Project Leadership: Driving development projects from initial concept through prototype build, validation, and ultimately to high-volume launch, utilizing a structured gate-staged development process.
- Strategic Planning & Execution: Developing and managing comprehensive project plans for all engineering initiatives, including detailed schedules, budgets, and prototype build strategies. You will also be responsible for reporting on project health and mitigating risks.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivating strong relationships with diverse stakeholders and fostering collaboration with cross-functional teams, from senior leadership to highly specialized engineers.
- Risk Management: Taking ownership of project and portfolio risks, and proactively implementing mitigation strategies to minimize their impact.
- On-Time Delivery & Budget Control: Ensuring the timely execution of projects across all internal departments and external partners, while staying within the project development budget.
- Transparent Communication: Providing clear and consistent progress updates to both internal and external stakeholders throughout all phases of development.
- Service Customization & Scalability: Collaborating with Sales and Product Management to refine and expand our standard customization services, ensuring they meet customer needs while maintaining scalability.
- PMP or comparable certification is required.
- 5+ years experience delivering large, complex projects. On time and on budget.
- Background in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Science (degree preferred).
- Strong technical knowledge in computer hardware, electrical design, and mechanical engineering.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and conflicting priorities.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet).
- A detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable work style.
