We are seeking an experienced and driven Hardware Engineering Project Manager to join our team in our South Burlington, VT office. As an Engineering Project Manager at OnLogic, you will manage a variety of technical projects and tasks associated with new product developments such as servers, edge systems, industrial and custom computers. You will be responsible for driving cross-functional teams, managing budgets and timelines, and ensuring the on time launch of our innovative products. This role requires a strong understanding of hardware development processes, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to lead and motivate teams.In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

End-to-End Project Leadership: Driving development projects from initial concept through prototype build, validation, and ultimately to high-volume launch, utilizing a structured gate-staged development process.
Strategic Planning & Execution: Developing and managing comprehensive project plans for all engineering initiatives, including detailed schedules, budgets, and prototype build strategies. You will also be responsible for reporting on project health and mitigating risks.
Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivating strong relationships with diverse stakeholders and fostering collaboration with cross-functional teams, from senior leadership to highly specialized engineers.
Risk Management: Taking ownership of project and portfolio risks, and proactively implementing mitigation strategies to minimize their impact.
On-Time Delivery & Budget Control: Ensuring the timely execution of projects across all internal departments and external partners, while staying within the project development budget.
Transparent Communication: Providing clear and consistent progress updates to both internal and external stakeholders throughout all phases of development.
Service Customization & Scalability: Collaborating with Sales and Product Management to refine and expand our standard customization services, ensuring they meet customer needs while maintaining scalability.

Requirements

PMP or comparable certification is required.
5+ years experience delivering large, complex projects. On time and on budget.
Background in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Science (degree preferred).
Strong technical knowledge in computer hardware, electrical design, and mechanical engineering.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and time management skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects and conflicting priorities.
Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet).
A detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable work style.

We determine final compensation based on discussions with applicants and their experience in similar roles.
