INTERNAs a CS Energy intern, you will work in a team environment to support projects and initiatives to deliver results. The ideal candidate should have an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for renewable energy. We are looking for a candidate who is flexible and capable of working in a dynamic team of professionals and a self-starter who can independently complete tasks on schedule and manage multiple projects simultaneously. You will get real responsibilities and many opportunities to learn.Under the Direction of the Environmental Health & Safety Manager the Environmental Health & Safety Intern will get hands on experience in the in the execution of environmental and safety programs and policies on project sites from project start-up to close-out.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Audit project sites to ensure compliance with EHS programs and policies.
  • Assist project teams to print required documents as needed for compliance.
  • Conduct EHS training as needed.
  • Order PPE as required for project sites.
  • Coach field teams on EHS programs and completing daily safety audits.
  • Assist EHS Specialists with incident reporting for any incidents.
  • Work on a special project that you and EHS Manager feel would be beneficial to the EHS Department.
Requirements
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or Business Administration (equivalent experience accepted)
  • Excellent Academic Credentials (GPA of 3.0 or higher)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must have demonstrated exceptional leadership skills
  • Track record of achievement
  • Self-directed, motivated, and flexible self-starter with an ability to work independently and to autonomously manage tasks
  • Able to accomplish multiple/simultaneous assignments within deadlines; Strong due diligence skills
  • Ability and desire to learn and progress within your position
  • Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced challenging environment
  • Working Knowledge of Word, Excel, and software.
  • Exceptional professional communication and presentation skills, both written and oral
  • Frequent Travel to Project Sites
