Volt is immediately hiring Sr. Infrastructure DevOps / IAC Engineer I in Aurora CO.As Sr. Infrastructure DevOps / IAC Engineer I you will:
  • Responsible for supporting the current traditional Linux based “on premises” VMware environment; with the emphasis and focus to migrate these existing systems to more of an “Infrastructure as Code” (IaC) environment in efforts to modernize.
  • Build and maintain DevOps Software Pipelines using Jenkins file as the primary standard.
  • Utilize the following stages in a pipeline: Build, Package, Deploy and Functional Test.
  • Build and maintain automation with the Pipeline structure, using Rundeck, Chef Environment files, and Ansible.
  • Be a team player incorporating a team-based success philosophy.
  • Follow established Software processes and procedures, development, documentation and maintenance/management of operations concepts, requirements (system, element, segment level), external and internal interfaces, and other software engineering work products/artifacts.
  • Contribute to the completion of program and project milestones under the specific guidance of their immediate supervisor.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in DevOps and satellite technology to drive innovation.
This is a 12 Month full time Contract to Hire opportunity.The ideal candidate will have:Clearance Required: Active Secret Required to StartTechnical Skills/Experience Required:
  • Have a skillset that spans across traditional on premises VMware based systems as well as experience in transforming these systems to and supporting emerging DevOps solutions in an Agile environment for our customers.
  • Experience with Agile Development Methodologies (E.g. scrum, SAFe).
  • Experience with Kubernetes design and implementation (CKA certified if possible).
  • Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting CICD Pipelines tools (E.g. Jira / Jira Service Management, Confluence, Bit Bucket, Jenkins, Artifactory).
  • Experience with automation frameworks such as Chef and Ansible.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with DevOps CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment).
  • Pipeline development using CloudBees Jenkins.
  • Experience with Jenkins, Artifactory, Git (Bitbucket), Fortify, Gradle, and Ansible.
  • Software Factory tools used in the orchestration for building, packaging, deploying, and testing developed products in a Pipeline. Example: Builds using Gradle, package deliver to Artifactory and use of Git (Bitbucket).
  • Understanding of Static Code Analysis tool (Fortify).
  • Experience developing software in an Agile environment.
  • Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite.
Certification Required: Security+ certified.Certification Preferred: CKA certified.Education Requirements:
  • Requires BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Physics and 5+ years of related work experience.
