We have an exciting opportunity *(Monday - Friday Rotating Saturdays, 7:00 am - 5:00 pm)* for an Operations Manager to innovate in our chemical manufacturing space. Drive initiatives aimed at boosting efficiency, reducing costs, and enriching employee engagement. Lead projects that coordinate across teams and develop outstanding problem-solvers adept at root cause analysis.   • Cultivate safety, quality, cost control, and production measures that surpass budget expectations
  • Steer foundational productivity projects involving cross-departmental cooperation
  • Champion workplace harmony, enhancements in safety, and technological advances supporting our strategic objectives
  • Incorporate continuous improvement practices to minimize waste and elevate productivity
  • Ensure our operational and maintenance benchmarks including delivery and quality improvements are met
  • Liaise with production teams to tailor scheduling, manage commitments, and address capacity challenges
  • Pioneer equipment performance analysis to spot endless improvement opportunities
  • Mold team talents and performance under department policies, driving personal and technical development
  • Unleash quick problem-solving techniques and initiate root cause analysis from the production floor
  • Meet goals in cost management, waste reduction, and enhancing work ergonomics
  • Recognize and control safety hazards intrinsic to our site’s operations
  • Spearhead creation and refinements of process standards
  • Expected travel: up to 10% based on business needs
Your Expertise Brings Us Forward
  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (Engineering preferred)
  • Experience over 5 years in manufacturing, implementing lean methods
  • Proven leadership spanning over 5 years in managing teams
  • Deep know-how of packaging, co-packaging, and chemical manufacturing
  • Strong grasp of integrated manufacturing operations
  • Effective collaborator, organized, and dependable team participant
  • Meticulously detail-oriented, adept at multitasking with shifting priorities
  • Resilient in fast-moving environments and skilled at working autonomously
  • Seasoned in computerized manufacturing systems; JDE knowledge preferred
  • Expert user of Microsoft applications, especially Excel
  • Proficiency in organizational strategies, critical evaluation, and collaborative problem-solving a must
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing or 5S methodology admired
