We are looking for an experienced and passionate Assistant Kitchen Manager to join our team.As an Assistant Kitchen Manager, your primary responsibility is to the customer, ensuring that every guest is served hot, fresh food that is made to standard. To be successful as an Assistant Kitchen Manager you should have excellent communication skills and a passion for quality food. You should be someone who leads by example, both in how you interact with your team as well as how to support the other managers. You will also assume a variety of responsibilities and duties such as training, overseeing food quality, and supporting service. - Manage and assist the Kitchen manage to oversee all kitchen operations
- Deliver exceptional food
- Ensuring guest satisfaction
- Respond efficiently to customer questions and complaints
- Organize and supervise shifts
- Assist managing and leading staff
- Develop hourly staff
- Terminate employees when necessary
- Training and evaluating staff performance
- Manage Labor
- Manage restaurant supplies
- Create and nurture a positive working environment
- Ideally, 2+ years of experience as a leader of a kitchen or similar role
- Ideally, 3+ years of experience in kitchen positions
- Computer literacy
- Strong leadership, motivational, and people skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
