- Develop project scope of work in collaboration with engineering and business development teams.
- Plan construction work and manage budgeting and cost estimation.
- Qualify contractors and oversee the subcontractor and vendor bid process.
- Manage project financials and conduct construction administration duties.
- Support field operations by working closely with the onsite Construction Manager.
- Maintain effective communication between customers and project team members.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality expectations.
- Ensure safety standards are met and maintain a healthy work environment.
- Oversee day-to-day operations from pre-construction through project completion and warranty periods.
- Create and manage schedules to ensure timely project delivery.
- Understand contract terms and conditions.
- Assist engineering team with scope development and cost budgeting/estimating.
- Create and maintain accurate projections of project costs.
- Coordinate with the Construction Manager and all subcontractors/suppliers.
- Purchase materials and equipment as needed.
- Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and budget, keeping the client informed.
- Handle construction administration tasks such as contracts, purchase orders, change orders, and project closeout.
- Experience in construction, wastewater, industrial projects, and project management.
- Ability to develop project scopes and manage costs effectively.
- Strong communication skills for maintaining client and team relationships.
- Understanding of contract terms and conditions.
- Experience with safety standards in construction environments.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
