Family Nurse PractitionerFamily Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive healthcare services to patients across the lifespan—from infants to older adults with a focus on children, in our Waterbury clinic. The FNP will assess, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic health conditions, emphasize preventative care, and promote overall wellness. This role is ideal for a compassionate, autonomous clinician who values patient education and holistic care.Part-Time / Non-ExemptSchedule: 8-10 hour shift every FridayPay Range begins at $65.00 per hourQUALIFICATIONSDegree in Primary Care Services with appropriate unrestricted license (APRN). Three years of experience in primary care setting required. Prescribing privileges required. Supervisory experience preferred. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of time sitting at a desk, using the phone, and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.Valid Driver’s license required.BENEFITS

  • Conduct necessary screening and preventive care.
  • Examine and diagnose patients, obtain medical histories, evaluate patient concerns,
  • order appropriate diagnostic tests and prescribe medications.
  • Develop and manage treatment plans for patients including preventative care and health maintenance.
  • Educate patients and families about health issues, disease prevention and medical treatments.
  • Communicate with other healthcare providers to coordinate quality patient care.
  • Coordinate continuing services with clinic support staff , Genoa pharmacy and Medical Director.
  • Keep detailed medical records and document patient care activities.
  • Coordinate care with specialty providers and make appropriate referrals to other healthcare practitioners.
  • Outreach promoting services, generating referrals sources, and developing resources for collaborative care.
  • Participates in regularly scheduled staff meetings regarding client treatment and facilitate medical rounds.
