We heavily invest in our technology and our people as we embark on a challenging yet exciting journey re-shaping the future of energy.If you share a passion in energy and technology and want to make a real difference in a rapidly growing scale-up company, please read on.About The RoleWe are actively searching for a range of energetic professionals to fill various roles assisting the EPC (engineering, procurement, construction) Manager on our West Coast infrastructure projects. The infrastructure team project manages the design, engineering, authority approvals, construction, commissioning and turnover of various hydrogen production facilities. The ideal candidates would hold qualifications in project management, construction management or engineering discipline and have industry experience in the oil and gas, petrochemical, construction industries.This may include a mechanical, electrical, E&I, process engineering, or similar background, or, you may have strengths in project management or coordination and have experience with multiple engineering disciplines and project management of similar projects.You would be a part of a dynamic team and would take instructions from and report to the EPC Manager.Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist, under direction, in the management of design, authority approvals, engineering, construction, contractors, project controls, budget, QA & QC, procedures and project logistics.
  • Assist the Project Manager in the creation and ongoing management of schedules, programs, contracts, design documentation, specifications etc.
  • Use rational process decision making tools to determine vendor selection, design, and other key decisions and problem solving throughout the project.
  • Maintain a strong focus on effective communication and problem solving.
  • Ability to work autonomously and with very minimal supervision as required and maintain effective time management skill.
  • There may be a requirement to travel interstate, infrequently, 10% or less.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor or similar in relevant engineering discipline, project management, construction management or similar is highly desirable, but not essential.
  • Minimum 2 years industry experience in either project engineering, management, coordination, controls or project management assistant on relevant projects in excess of $3MM value in the oil & gas, petrochemical, industrial gases or construction industries is highly desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to read and understand engineered design, P&ID's, construction design, project specifications.
  • Competence with AutoCAD 2D is highly desirable.
  • Ability to effectively use MS Project or similar is required.
  • Excellent communication skills both written & verbal.
