- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of scientists, engineers, and technicians to advance state-of-the-art design for power converters.
- Lead the development of new power conversion products from concept to reality.
- Provide technical leadership in power product development.
- Design, troubleshoot, and validate power converters and motor control products for aerospace applications.
- Work on DC-DC power converters ranging from 0.8V to 800V and 100W to 20kW.
- Develop schematics and oversee PCB layouts.
- Participate in system integration to create specifications and develop test scenarios.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Proficiency in power electronics, hardware, power systems, and electrical engineering.
- Experience with DC-DC and ZCS converters.
- Knowledge of military standards and PCB design software, such as Orcad and PLS Cadd.
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of three years related experience, or a relevant degree with five years of related work experience.
- Experience with DFX and aerospace standards (e.g., DO160, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-704).
- Proficiency in PCB design software and experience with prototype board design.
