- Knowledge of theories, principles and concepts acquired through completion of a bachelor’s degree.
- At least seven (7) years of project management experience.
- Analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to exercise sound judgment.
- Strong attention to detail and customer service, communication, collaboration, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and intermediate or advanced skill level using Microsoft Excel.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required.
- Healthcare industry knowledge and experience is preferred.
- Experience with medical device and equipment implementation and upgrade projects is a plus.
- Master’s degree is a plus.
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from Scrum Alliance is a plus.
- Experience with Adobe Workfront, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Project, and/or Microsoft Visio is a plus.
- Organize, manage, and facilitate meetings with project team, community partners, and external stakeholders.
- Communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of management. Provide clear direction and guidance to the project team.
- Record and distribute meeting notes. Work with the project team and departments to address action items, risks, and issues.
- Develop and utilize project management methodology, toolsets, and project artifacts. Maintain project assets, documentation, and artifacts throughout the project life cycle and post implementation.
- Generate and distribute weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual project reports to key stakeholders. Work with project team to understand and coordinate all tasks and project assignments and ensure project information is up to date and timely.
- Develop, collect, and maintain project artifacts – including project status reports, meeting notes, project charters, work break-down structures, project task lists and schedules, test plans, transition plans, project budgets, risk and issue logs, etc.
- Establish and monitor project schedule, budget, and resource management baselines and plans.
- Oversee, monitor, and communicate project related issues, scope changes, and variances that arise during the project and apply best practices to resolve or mitigate project issues.
- Collaborate with project team and other project stakeholders to address issues and risks. Escalate issues and risks appropriately.
- Verify and analyze the accuracy of all data and information used or generated by project and resolve any discrepancies or problems. Ensure the integrity of the project.
- Have business acumen and be willing to tackle complex problems head-on while dealing with the challenges of short timescales and demanding business stakeholders.
- Provide support for strategic programs and projects with high level of visibility; and interact with multiple, diverse stakeholder groups comprised of business, IT and vendors.
- Perform all other duties as assigned, including special projects.
