- Partner with Finance leadership to ensure timely, accurate, and well-controlled investment accounting close processes.
- Support investment accounting and financial reporting under US GAAP and US Statutory requirements.
- Prepare quarterly and annual reporting packages including:
- Consolidated US GAAP filings (10-Q & 10-K)
- Unconsolidated US Statutory reports (investment footnotes and schedules)
- Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations of investment data to the general ledger across all applicable accounting bases.
- Review investment portfolio activity within ePAM accounting system, utilizing internal data tools such as ARCHIE.
- Prepare and post journal entries as part of the monthly and quarterly close process.
- Collaborate with front office, upstream accounting, and operations teams to resolve investment-related data discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of external reporting and respond to investor and analyst inquiries.
- Support internal and external audit processes with timely and accurate documentation.
- Maintain and enhance process documentation related to investment accounting and internal controls.
- Proactively identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and compliance.
- Contribute to financial analysis related to operating results, balance sheet reviews, and performance metrics.
- Provide status updates to investment accounting management regarding progress, issues, and team accomplishments.
- Stay informed on evolving market conditions, investment products, accounting standards, and regulatory changes.
- Perform other related projects and duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- 3–5 years of relevant accounting or financial analysis experience required
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, formulas)
- Experience in preparing and presenting financial reports is strongly preferred
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of GAAP and Statutory accounting principles preferred
- Familiarity with alternative investments and applicable accounting guidance is a plus
- Experience with PAM for Investments (PFI), Blackline, or other investment accounting systems is strongly desired
