This position will support our entire organization across all markets but can be based out of any CompuNet location.CompuNet is a Microsoft Managed and Direct CSP partner with offices in 11 western states. We are rapidly expanding our Microsoft practice to support our customers’ needs around licensing, services, and support. CompuNet provides on-the-job training in a fast paced, energetic & engaging environment. Product and program knowledge will be essential to the success of the Account Manager – Microsoft. The responsibilities of the Account Manager – Microsoft include:
  • Assisting in managing clients' overall customer experience with CompuNet with a focus on customer retention and growth
  • Work closely with the Microsoft Business Development licensing and sales overlay teams to support pre-sale and post-sale activities related to Microsoft licensing needs.
  • Supporting CompuNet’s Partnership, Enablement and Programs (PEP) team via the following:
  • Creation and management of Microsoft referrals, inbound and outbound, from inception to close within Microsoft Partner Center.
  • Administrative tracking and reporting on Microsoft licensing and services opportunity pipeline.
  • Reporting to CompuNet’s Adoption team on opportunity stages as it relates to Microsoft Claiming Partner of Record.
  • Supporting CompuNet sales teams by assembling Microsoft licensing quotes for our clients.
  • Facilitating order processing directly through Microsoft Partner Center and/or distribution partners to ensure timely completion and accurate reflection of customer orders in CompuNet’s tracking systems.
  • Working with manufacturers, brokers and distributing partners to ensure customers receive the correct licenses, products, subscriptions, and services are the correct price.
  • Categorizing, creating, and tracking agreement information for customer opportunities.
  • Serves as point of escalation for customer issues.
  • Providing excellent internal customer service with all our business units.
  • Team coverage duties as needed.

  • 2-4 years inside and/or outside sales experience with an emphasis on Microsoft Licensing services around Microsoft product offerings.
  • Strong listener who demonstrates professional communication with clients and co-workers.
  • Strong organizational and effective time management.
  • Excellent attention to detail and proactive follow-up.
  • Comfortable with team-based work structure.
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility on the job with constantly changing deadlines and priorities.
Our ideal candidate would also have the following preferred knowledge, skills, abilities and/or education:
  • Deep understanding of Microsoft licensing programs such as Microsoft Direct (MCA), CSP, Volume Licensing, and Enterprise Agreements.
  • Knowledge of the different agreement types of Microsoft Licensing Programs such as CSP Software Perpetual, CSP Software Subscription, CSP Modern Work (M365), CSP Azure, and Open Value (Volume License).
  • Experience working with Microsoft, Microsoft distributors or Microsoft partners in legacy and cloud-based Microsoft licensing programs and vehicles.
  • Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office Suite, ConnectWise and Microsoft Partner Center portal.
  • Certifications: Microsoft Fundamentals (MS-900, AZ-900, etc.) a bonus.
