- This is a Temp-To-Hire, W-2 position. We are not able to do 1099 or C2C.
- It is a fully remote role that will need to be based in the U.S.
- You must meet our U.S. Eligibility requirements for work authorization as noted under "Additional Information" at the bottom of the job description.
- Lead the architecture and design of cloud-based data architecture using Azure data platform solutions.
- Determine architecture solutions that meet performance, scalability, reliability, and security needs.
- Lead multiple, large, highly complex efforts simultaneously, making key architecture and technology decisions.
- Support conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling efforts for strategic initiatives.
- Design and develop data warehouse database schemas, extract, transform, and load (ETL) mappings, procedures, and schedules.
- Coordinate activities with data source application owners to ensure integration and data integrity.
- Design and develop reports, dashboards, KPIs, and data extracts.
- Provide proactive technical oversight and mentorship to architecture and development teams fostering re-use, design for scale, stability, and operational efficiency based on strategic business and P&E tenets.
- Research and evaluate emerging data management technologies for applicability and adoption.
- Build prototypes of learning solutions to show proof-of-concepts and develop scalable integrated enterprise services
- Design, develop, implement, test intelligent application solutions in a PaaS environment.
- Work with technical leadership to drive innovation and create best practices within the team.
- Present technical ideas and high-level concepts and solutions to internal and external team members.
- Collaborate and contribute to the company’s data mining architectures, modeling standards, reporting, and data analysis methodologies.
- Contribute to a positive culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence by identifying and implementing process improvements where appropriate.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand the business problem, gather business requirements, supporting data and with/without guidance of leadership, help stakeholders/partners understand the business and scientific principles behind the process in order to gain their buy-in
- Trains/coaches team members or peers and actively shares expertise with peers
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, 8+ years of experience.
- In-depth knowledge of database structures/ data warehousing principles, and experience in SQL across different platforms including structured and unstructured data from various enterprise sources.
- Proven technical skills in data architecture, data modeling, data management, and data retention concepts and practices.
- Experience with the Microsoft SQL Server Technology Stack (2016 or later) is required.
- Good knowledge of standard concepts, best practices, coming up with blue prints, future state data marts, and procedures within a data warehousing and Business Intelligence(BI) environment
- Initiative and passion for finding solutions to ambiguous problems and ability to work in difficult situations and across organizational boundaries.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to effectively collaborate with multi-disciplinary groups and all organizational levels
- High level organizational and project management skills in order to handle multiple concurrent assignments in a timely manner and to monitor processes throughout a team or department
- Strong decision-making skills
