- Manage cold email infrastructure including domains, mailboxes, and sending platforms.
- Utilize L2Ts proprietary email designer tool to create and execute email campaigns, including setting graphics, writing compelling subject lines and body copy.
- Monitor campaign performance and compile related KPIs including email delivered, open and click rates.
- Maintain product specific SOPs and ensure processes are being followed.
- Monitor domain reputation and email deliverability.
- Proactively identify and mitigate deliverability issues including blacklistings, spam traps, etc.
- Troubleshoot all email campaign issues and engage with third-party vendor support as needed to ensure resolution.
- Research and report on adherence to CAN-SPAM, GDPR and other email regulations.
- Manage mailbox rotation, warm-up processes, and sending limits across multiple domains.
- Build process and documentation for scalable domain and mailbox management.
- Coordinate with external vendors and technical partners.
- Keep abreast of new tools, platforms, compliance updates, and best practices in the cold email space to ensure our infrastructure remains competitive and compliant.
- Hire, onboard and train team members on all processes and platforms.
- Cross train employees across departments.
- Provide performance feedback for direct reports and mentor staff in their career progression.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- 2+ years’ experience in technical email marketing.
- Strong copywriting skills with a proven ability to execute high-performing email campaigns.
- Analytical and detail-oriented mindset with a problem-solving approach.
- Familiarity with basic HTML for template creation.
- Innovative mindset in identifying potential product enhancements, exploring feasibility of enhancements and demonstrating value to clients.
- Self-starter with strong time management and organization skills.
- Understanding of DNS records, email authentication, and domain/IP reputation.
- Experience using tools such as Instantly, Smartlead, Lemlist, or similar.
- Understanding of API integrations and ability to synthesize related documentation.
- Experience with email list validation and hygiene tools such as FindyMail, ZeroBounce, or similar.
- Agency-side digital media or advertising experience.
