- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and 10+ years of experience in electronic circuit design and analysis; a Master’s degree in electrical engineering and 7+ years of experience in electronic circuit design and analysis
- Demonstrated ability to prove a conceptual design and develop a complete hardware design with verification via test and integration
- Prior hardware engineering background in both Digital and Analog Circuit Design
- Ability to perform circuit simulation and analysis using Spice, LT Spice and MATLAB
- Experience writing test procedures, conducting tests, and proficient in use of electronic test and measurement equipment.
- Strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Position may require some amount of overnight travel
- Working Knowledge of all Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Willingness to apply for and be granted a US Government Security clearance
- Experience in analog sensor interface design utilizing ICP, CVLD, Acoustic and IR transducers
- Experience in Anti-aliasing and reconstruction filter design, A/D and D/A interfacing
- Experience in low power electronics design for use in battery applications
- Experience with schematic capture and board layout using tools such as ORCAD Capture and Cadence Allegro
- Experience in design using Altera and Xilinx FPGA/CPLD
- Product certification exposure based on military and commercial standards; UL/FCC, MIL-STD-810, 461, 704
- Ability to perform light assembly and rework of prototype hardware to support test and evaluation
- Current DoD Security clearance
