
Sr Financial Analyst, Project Kuiper

- Finance subject matter expert of Kuiper cloud computing consumption
- Develop strong working relationships with AWS Infrastructure and Services teams, and Kuiper business partners
- Work across Kuiper to identify, quantify and forecast AWS usage (IMR) and Kuiper specific AWS infrastructure costs (Capex) that support Kuiper on a global scale
- Build complex financial models that estimate Kuiper cloud computing costs and requirements in support of negotiations with AWS and B2B prospective customers. Partner with key Kuiper business partners to assess and bring creative ideas to reduce cloud computing costs
- Develop and implement metrics to monitor, report and evaluate forecasts and actual usage (AWS, external) and capex investments including recommendations to business leadership to drive efficiencies and spending improvements
- Develop and deliver accurate Operating Plans and Guidance R&Os and bring creative ideas to drive out costs
- Demonstrate an ability to manage competing priorities, work in an ambiguous business unit, and provide operations and investment guidance to the business partners based on data analysis
- Uses active listening skills intuitively to communicate data (both written and verbal) in a clear, concise, and unambiguous manner. Adjusts style for various audiences to articulate complex finance issues clearlyBASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 3+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related fieldPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- MBA, or CPA

The base pay for this position ranges from $60,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market.
