- Replace our current 4-person fractional finance team with a single, AI-augmented system that you manage.
- Build and own a real-time financial dashboard, including rolling forecasts, actuals-to-budget comparisons, and 52-week cash flow forecasting model.
- Deliver month-end reporting within 2–3 business days, including accurate EBITDA and variance insights.
- Maintain a 52-week rolling cash flow forecast, updated weekly with inputs from actuals and intelligent projections that tie back to the annual budget.
- Implement department-level real-time budget tracking, giving business leaders high visibility and accountability.
- Provide fast, intuitive financial modeling for decisions involving hiring, pricing, inventory, or capital needs, with or without AI assistance. .
- Design and implement a unified, intelligent finance system with automated data flows and AI integration
- Deliver weekly and monthly reporting with precision, context, and speed
- Deliver an annual budget for 2026 and beyond with transparent and documented assumptions that eliminate human error or unnecessary complexity, while making quarterly reforecasting fast and easy.
- Maintain a rolling 52-week cash flow forecast and track against real-time data
- Own the month-end close process (target: 2–3 business days)
- Automate real-time budget-to-actual reporting by department
- Reforecast quarterly and as-needed, with detailed assumptions
- Provide financial models for major business decisions with fast turnaround time
- Ensure clean, reconciled accounting (either in-house or via minimal external support) with documented variances
- Build and maintain a lean, modern tech stack using tools like Sage Intacct, Sage CoPilot, Expensify, Bill.com, Make, Fathom, LiveFlow, Zapier, Airtable, GPT/AI tools, and others as needed
- Demonstrated success in a finance systems, FP&A, or financial operations role with deep systems and process ownership.
- Strong technical aptitude with financial platforms, automation tools, and custom dashboards
- Expert-level fluency in AI technologies for financial use cases (e.g., GPT, agents, classification, extraction, automation)
- Experience managing or replacing multi-person finance functions with smart automation and system design
- Proficiency in creating models, forecasts, and real-time dashboards
- Excellent communicator and partner to executive leadership
- Strong sense of personal responsibility, discipline, and commitment to excellence.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
