QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate competency in the criteria listed in this job description. The specifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability to meet the minimum requirements for this position.Required Education:Graduate of an accredited college or university with a Master’s degree in hospital or healthcare administration, business administration, public administration, or a related field is preferred.Required Experience:Five (5) years’ of healthcare related experience. Knowledge of behavioral health operations strongly preferred. Three (3) years management experience required.Required Licensure/Certification:LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, or RNRequired Skills:Knowledge of healthcare administration, theory and practice. Demonstrates understanding of legal and regulatory controls, as well as professional and moral ethics. Evidence of interpersonal communication skills necessary to interact effectively with Governing Body, Medical Staff, hospital staff, patients and members of the community. Knowledge of financial implications of decision including budgeting and forecasting for assigned departments and/or projects.Physical Requirements:Requires sufficient body mobility to accomplish essential functions. Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to bend, stoop, and kneel with ease. Requires walking and standing often. Requires frequently speaking on the telephone. Able to write legibly and grammatically to convey patient behavior and information in the patient chart. Requires normal or corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Must be able to express and exchange ideas by means of the spoken word. Communicating fluently and effectively both verbally and in writing in English. Ability to appropriately interact with all program staff, patients, visitors, attending physicians, and other department representatives.About Universal Health Services
