- Solution Architecture & Design:
- Develop and implement scalable GIS architectures using ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise and Utility Network.
- Define system interactions, interfaces, and integration points with other enterprise platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Lead the design of GIS infrastructure and data models to support utility operations.
- Implementation & Integration:
- Perform ArcGIS Enterprise installations, configurations, and upgrades.
- Integrate GIS systems with asset management, work order, and customer information systems.
- Ensure seamless data flow and system interoperability across platforms.
- Technical Leadership:
- Provide technical guidance to development teams and stakeholders.
- Lead workshops and requirements gathering sessions with business users.
- Advocate for GIS best practices, standards, and security protocols.
- Project Management & Support:
- Prepare architecture documentation, proposals, and technical reports.
- Support change management and user adoption strategies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex GIS system and data issues.
- Strategic Contributions:
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies in GIS.
- Contribute to long-term GIS strategy and planning aligned with business goals.
- Evaluate and recommend enhancements to improve system performance and user experience.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in GIS, Computer Science, Geography, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience:
- 5 10 years in GIS architecture roles, preferably in utility or energy sectors.
- Hands-on experience with ESRI ArcGIS Platform, Utility Network, and enterprise system integrations.
- Familiarity with electric, gas, water, or telecom operations.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, and geospatial data modeling.
- Knowledge of RDBMS (MS SQL Server, Oracle, SAP HANA).
- Understanding of ITSM, SDLC, and IT governance principles.
- Certifications:
- ESRI Technical Certification or Certified GIS Professional (GISP) preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
