Lake Forest Community High School is Teaching/World Language French (.8 FTE)Description: Lake Forest High School has an opening for a long-term substitute for World Language French teacher (.8 French). The World Language Department is seeking a teacher who establishes a strong culture of learning and engages students in challenging content through well-designed learning tasks and activities. This role demands a professional who not only has an in-depth understanding of the subject matter, but also a high level of instructional skill and a commitment to every student’s academic growth and achievement.Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's Degree
  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL, commonly referred to as a teaching license or teaching certificate) with a French endorsement

  • Engage students at a variety of levels and encourage them to use the target language on a consistent basis.

  • Facilitate a classroom environment that encourages student collaboration and discourse, enhancing the learning experience for all.

  • Participate in a team-based approach to promote continuous enhancement of instructional practices.
