Location: Tampa, FL (Required)Travel: Up to 80%Report To: Director of ImplementationJob Purpose:If you are a licensed clinician with a passion for enhancing the patient experience, a desire to innovate in healthcare delivery, and an interest in traveling, the Clinical Implementation Specialist position at Shields at Home may be the perfect fit for you.This role supports both the implementation of new hospital-at-home programs and the ongoing operations of existing live sites. The Clinical Implementation Specialist will be deployed to partner locations to lead clinical workflow integration, provide training, and offer operational coverage as needed. The role also contributes clinical expertise to business development efforts. Travel will be required up to 80% of the time, and candidates must be based in the Tampa, FL area or willing to relocate.Job Duties:
  • Lead clinical workflow design and integration during new site implementations, including the development of implementation resources and building strong relationships with key clinical and operational stakeholders.
  • Conduct training for hospital and home-based clinical teams on protocols, technology, and care coordination.
  • Provide operational support to live sites, which may vary in frequency and duration depending on site needs and company priorities - ranging from short-term troubleshooting to longer-term coverage and optimization efforts.
  • Collaborate with Business Development to evaluate clinical feasibility and support proposal development for new opportunities.
  • Maintain documentation of clinical workflows, training materials, and implementation playbooks.
  • Travel to partner sites across the U.S. for both implementation and business development purposes (up to 80%).
Experience/Education:Required Licensure/Certification:Licensed clinician (RN, NP, or PA). Active license in good standing required.Years of Experience:Required: 3+ years of clinical experience in acute care, home health, or transitional care.Preferred: Experience in healthcare implementation, clinical operations, and/or project management.Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
  • Highly proficient in systems such as MS Office (e.g., Word, Excel), EMR platforms (e.g., Epic, Cerner), and remote monitoring tools.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and care models.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
