Concrete contractor in Huntsville seeking a leader to join their business as a Senior / Chief Estimator. This is an excellent opportunity for any experienced Estimator to make an immense impact and drive their career forward.Reporting directly into the Regional Manager, the main duties and responsibilities of the Senior Estimator will include the following:
  • Estimate from both concept designs and complete designs
  • Completion of all aspects of project bidding including plan and specification takeoff, pricing, and client communication / follow-up
  • Assist with the development, updating and implementation of an estimating database with assemblies
  • Assist or lead the process of implementation of estimating program software system
  • Maintain a cost history data base
  • Review rewarded bids with Construction team to ensure budget accuracy and resource allocation
  • Interact with clients and General Contractors to build and maintain relationships

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Construction Management or related field
  • 8+ years in concrete estimating
  • Exceptional knowledge of cast-in-place concrete concepts, processes, and functions
  • Hands on construction experience in an advantage
