Responsible for the ongoing, effective daily operations of Risk Management activities. Such responsibilities include incorporation of the Corporate TERM/Patient Safety Program into the overall functions of the Vines Hospital System. Ensure continuous reporting to System Risk Management Director, Administration and Corporate Risk Management/Insurance. This position is a 40 hour a week opportunity.Benefit Highlights:

QualificationsEDUCATION / LICENSURE:FL RN licensure or bachelors degree preferred.Knowledge of hospital operations, risk identification, assessment and reduction and claims management.A strong knowledge of Joint Commission, CMS, AHCA and state and Federal standards and regulations including Patient Rights standards, and any other applicable federal and state laws and regulations governing mental health care facilities and hospitals.Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.Organizational skills and ability to interact with and coordinate all levels of staff.Work is primarily sedentary, sitting part of the day, some standing and walking is involved as well.EEO StatementAll UHS subsidiaries are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants and teammates.
