The Global Consultants team works with over 100 investment consultant firms around the world which advise on asset allocation for a diverse set of clients. This requires a deep understanding of clients' needs, consultants' approaches, and GS' investment strategies.YOUR IMPACTWe are seeking a data oriented, commercially driven person for a role in GSAM's Global Consultants team. In this role, you will bolster the client service team to supply clients with portfolio data and build custom analytics and research to win new clients and retain existing ones.HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
  • Support senior consultant relationship managers in providing excellent service to high-profile investment consultants
  • Collaborate with public investing teams, RFP, compliance, and others to provide timely deliverables to large, global institutional consultants
  • Research, track and summarize progress with investment consultants, including: opportunities, product ratings, and market trends in asset allocation
  • Develop a close partnership with internal sales, product, and management teams to commercialize our strategies
  • Run projects and assist in developing team strategy
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • Highly developed organizational and internal communication skills required
  • 1-2 years of work experience at an asset manager, investment consultant, Goldman Sachs, or other financial firm preferred
  • Data extraction, manipulation, visualization and automation skills are welcome, but not required
  • Interpersonal skills: this role requires the ability to build excellent working relationships with many internal and external parties
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced team
  • Organized with good attention to detail
  • Salesforce proficiency preferred
