Job Title: Technical Project Manager/Business Analyst HybridDepartment: Customer SuccessReports to: Director, PMOJob Summary: The Technical PM is a Specright Expert who is responsible for the project schedule, budget, and timeline and orchestrating activities to mitigate risk and hit targets jointly with customers. In this role, you will collaborate with our customers while providing best practice recommendations, consulting services, and expert project management governance to ensure the success of their implementation. You will work cross-functionally with teams including Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Customer Success, and Software Engineering.Responsibilities and Duties
  • Plan, organize and manage all phases of projects to ensure on time and on budget delivery, customer satisfaction, quality deliverables, and exceptional project governance to avoid scope creep and project risk.
  • Able to guide resources and customers that provide impactful solutions resulting in highly referenceable accounts enabling strong adoption, renewal and upsell.
  • Act as a Solution Consultant that can support conversations throughout the project lifecycle including active participation in requirements gathering sessions, strong understanding of solution best practice principles, assisting in QA testing and capable of discussing the solutions built for customers.
  • Interact with business partners to learn and document requirements. Produce business requirements documents and user stories.
  • Research customer needs and collaboratively plan solutions. Coordinate development to meet business requirements.
  • Support development and and management of test cases and User Acceptance Testing
  • Ability to forecast resource needs to execute the project on time and within budget
  • High level of discipline with status updates, Salesforce.com hygiene, etc.
  • Utilize Project management principles to establish full implementation plans including defining scope, deliverables, dependencies, duration estimates, resource estimates, risk identification and mitigation, and contingency planning.
  • Have a strong ability to communicate project boundaries with customers and also negotiate mutual plans that keep projects on schedule, timeline and scope.
  • Be customer-centric in style and approach, with a genuine desire to create and deliver value with outstanding customer experiences.
  • Maintain up to date required product and project management knowledge.
  • Collaborate with the Specright team to proactively uncover additional customer needs and possible upsell opportunities.
  • Adopt and evangelize our Specright implementation methodology and provide ongoing input to maintain and enhance our methodology.
Qualifications
  • Industry experience in Consumer Goods, Food & Beverage, Packaging or Supply Chain
  • 5+ years of project management, business analyst, solution consultant or related experience required in SaaS, preferably Salesforce.com related
  • Great communication skills to convey implementation objectives, project boundaries, and drive projects to successful outcomes for internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Must be able to develop credibility and trust from customers and internal stakeholders with technical acumen on the solution and project management expertise.
  • Comfort in presenting to C-suite executives on project health and discussing difficult topics to drive mutual resolution.
  • Experience and ability to manage highly complex Enterprise software projects.
  • Salesforce.com knowledge preferred but not required
  • Smartsheets project management experience
  • PMP Certification is preferred
