- Manage the entire bid process from invitation to final proposal submission
- Analyze construction documents, perform quantity takeoffs, and identify scope of work
- Conduct site visits and attend pre-bid meetings to assess site conditions
- Review subcontractor and vendor proposals for accuracy and compliance
- Develop preliminary construction schedules and ensure estimates are complete and well-organized
- Manage multiple bids, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Collaborate with owners, vendors, subcontractors, and project teams
- 5+ years of estimating experience in site development or highway construction
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Proven ability to estimate projects
- Strong knowledge of mass excavation, concrete structures, bridges, drainage, and utilities
- Experience with value engineering, constructability analysis, and risk assessment
- Proficient in estimating software
