What you will do as Controller:
  • Lead and manage all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and reconciliations
  • Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting standards, grant requirements, and internal policies
  • Oversee budget preparation, forecasting, and financial reporting to leadership and the board
  • Manage external audit processes and coordinate with auditors, providing supporting documentation
  • Develop and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard assets
What we are looking for:
Education & Experience:
  • BA in Accounting, finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory or leadership roles
  • Nonprofit accounting, grant management, or fund accounting experience highly desirable
  • Proven ability to oversee complex financial operations and ensure compliance with regulations
