The Registered Nurse provides high quality patient and family centered care; in accordance with the scope of practice defined the Maine State Board of Nursing. Through collaboration, delegation and communication with members of the healthcare team, the Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers care to a diverse population without discrimination in assigned areas. - Minimum three years circulating in a variety of surgical cases including total joint replacement, c-sections, ophthalmology and endoscopy. Experience working at smaller, multi-specialty hospital settings preferred.
- ACLS required, PALS preferred
- CNOR preferred
- Float between Pen Bay and Waldo with call shift rotation required
- Education: Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
- License/Certifications: Current License as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maine; Current BLS Certification. ACLS required, PALS preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of one year in an acute care setting preferred.
- OB Department RN Float - Labor, delivery, postpartum and newborn care experience required, three years' acute care experience required with a minimum of two years in the OB/GYN specialty. Must have newborn resuscitation experience with current NRP certification preferred.
- OR Department RN Float Minimum three years circulating in a variety of surgical cases including total joint replacement, csections, ophthalmology and endoscopy. Experience working at smaller, multi-specialty hospital settings preferred. CNOR preferred.
- As required by department, including Annual Electronic Fetal Monitoring competency for any RN assisting Laboring Women
