- Various shifts available (Monday through Friday)
- Set tappers, change diameters on heads, check fluid and oil on tappers.
- Using chart for bore diameter, identify proper gage to use.
- Use appropriate gages, such as Bryant gage, thread gages, 3-point I.D. micrometers, etc.
- Grind chasers and reamers.
- Operate, maintain, and adjust Automatics presses.
- Operate, maintain, and adjust automatic coil feed lines for these presses. This includes cradle/reel, straightener, feeder, etc…
- Die setups and changeovers
- Perform coil changes.
- Operate and respond to the press controls and die protection systems (including Smartpac systems).
- Lubricate press and feeder components as necessary.
- Operate forklift trucks
- Ability to operate and maintain heavy machinery\
- Licensed forklift driver
- Ability to use calipers and micrometers, thread gages, and Bryant gage
- Knowledge of statistical process control
- Ability to use SPC computer
- Ability to adjust machinery based on analysis of statistical data
- Ability to recognize and respond to unsafe working conditions
- Ability to read and understand control plans and FMEA
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
