All duties are to be performed in accordance with department and property policies, practices, and procedures.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:(These functions are intended as a general illustration of the work performed in this job classification and are not all inclusive for this position)
  • Assist guests with their needs and drive sales.
  • Maintain a sale focused culture to achieve store goals.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment and ensure product replenishment from stock room to guarantee our guest’s ease of shopping.
  • Own the guest’s experience and report any opportunities for improvement to Retail Management
  • Follow all Retail, POS, and Cash Handling procedures.
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested.
QualificationsEDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Six (6) months of Retail Sales experience
  • Six (6) months of cash handling experience
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
  • Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
  • Valid Alcohol Awareness Card
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Ability to operate a Retail POS system.
  • Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills.
  • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms.
  • Knowledge of hotel services, features, local attractions, and activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.
  • Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.
