- Operate nuclear medicine cameras and related imaging equipment to create accurate diagnostic images.
- Position patients correctly and select appropriate anatomic and technical factors for optimal imaging results.
- Prepare, order, administer, and safely dispose of radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with established protocols.
- Adhere to all radiation safety procedures and guidelines to protect patients and staff.
- Ensure timely submission of high-quality images and complete documentation to PACS, including proper lead markers and patient history.
- Perform regular equipment checks, report malfunctions, and coordinate maintenance as needed.
- Assist with maintaining a clean, safe, and organized department environment.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a Nuclear Medicine Technician.
- Current certification and licensing as required by state and federal regulations.
- Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures, radiation safety, and imaging equipment.
- Excellent communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
