Duration: 13 Weeks (High possibility of extension)Compensation:Local Candidates: $34 – $38 per hourTravelers: $39 – $44 per hourPosition Overview:We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a contract role in a healthcare facility located in Utica, NY. This position involves providing direct patient care and supporting daily activities and medical needs under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians.Key Responsibilities:Monitor and document vital signs including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respirationAdminister medications and injections as prescribed, observing for potential side effectsAssist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and eatingProvide basic wound care including cleaning and dressing woundsAccurately update medical records and patient documentationReport changes in patient condition to supervising RN or physician promptlyRequired Skills & Experience:Minimum of 1 year recent experience as an LPNCertifications (Required Prior to Start):Active New York State LPN LicenseBLS Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
