Configuration ManagerKey Role:Manages the requirements for planning, organizing, and implementing enterprise-wide technology infrastructure and configuration management functions. Applies advanced skills or extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction. Mentors and may supervise team members.Basic Qualifications:5+ years of experience executing CM and change control processes for DoD programsExperience using CM tools, such as CMPro for complex projectsExperience analyzing complex information to inform CM system modifications and processes while collaborating with complex teams to efficiently extract and identify engineering changesExperience using common MBSE tools, providing configuration documentation and troubleshooting issues with the configuration management process for model managementExperience with the system engineering life cycle, including requirements, design, development, integration, testing, and deployment for major DoD weapon systemsKnowledge of Weapon Open System Architecture (WOSA) design principles and technologies, DoD architecture standards and framework, and Agile systems engineering methods and toolsAbility to develop SOPs and training to facilitate CM processesAbility to lead and facilitate Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings and to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary, dynamic team environment, including internal staff, external contractors, and government clientsSecret clearanceHS diploma or GEDAdditional Qualifications:Experience developing system and subsystem baseline artifacts for complex projectsKnowledge of technical data as it relates to the design, operation, and maintenance of complex ICBM weapon systemsKnowledge of using systems models during government engineering reviewsKnowledge of systems engineering disciplines, including configuration management, risk management, cybersecurity, and cyber certification processesKnowledge of object-oriented programming languages, such as C++, Java, or PythonKnowledge of Agile Project ManagementPossession of excellent technical writing and verbal communication skillsTop Secret clearanceBachelor's degreeCM, ASEP, OCSMP Fundamental, Agile or SAFe or INCOSE CSEP certificationClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
