You will play an integral part in our growing asset management practice. This position can be remote with travel to client sites.Your Key ResponsibilitiesLead facility survey, assessment, and audit assignments primarily in support of large, high-profile Department of Defense program initiativesDirects team members (employees and sub-consultants) at all levels of contract administrationConsults with clients to develop scope of work and determine project plans and schedulesDirectly supervises numerous employees and at times subcontractors involved in the projectCarries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company’s policies and applicable lawsMentors and provide leadership to staff and project teamsEvaluates and integrates engineering systems and implements code, accessibility, and zoning analysesLead field observations to monitor project progressFacility planning, auditing, and inspecting large industrial, government and military facilitiesLead energy studies, audits and rate/metering surveysInspect complete facility systems of large building complexes including mechanical, electrical, structural and architectural featuresPrepare cost estimates and project descriptionsWrite comprehensive facility and condition assessment reportsDevelop and write comprehensive facility audit and facility management plansPrepare proposals and estimates for consulting servicesPresent proposals to potential clients and negotiates final award feesPrepare subcontract statements or work and negotiates feesPrepare presentations summarizing final reports or other deliverables and presents them to the clientDevelop and maintain positive client relationships and understand client needs ""Your Capabilities and CredentialsAbility to exercise professional discretion and judgmentStrong client satisfaction track recordDemonstrated commitment and focus on Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC)Ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues and staff both in written and oral presentationAbility to manage multiple concurrent projects and establish prioritiesAbility to maintain organization in a changing environmentExhibits initiative, responsibility, flexibility, and leadershipPossess a thorough knowledge of contract administration and office proceduresAbility to use extensive working knowledge of all relevant procedures necessary to complete contract documents to obtain permitsAbility to use working knowledge of all sub-consultant work to maintain efficiencies and meet deadlinesAbility to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, construction drawings, and legal documentsBusiness development expertise for federal clients, particularly DoDKnowledge of Federal and/or DOD audit/condition assessment programs.Excellent technical writing and oral communication skillsSuperior leadership and management skillsKnowledge of building codes and construction standardsProficient in the use of MS Office applications, especially Word, Excel, Project, and SharePointPossesses a valid driver’s licenseDrug screen required for positionAbility to travel by air domestically and internationallyAbility to obtain a security clearanceAbility to work independently and remotelyWilling to travel 50%75% of the timeLocation near a Federal or DOD concentration area and/or large airportEducation and Experience10 years’ experience in Architecture, Planning, Engineering, Facility Asset Management, or Public WorksProfessional Engineer registration or Architect license highly preferredExperience with DoD planning and budget/contracting procedures preferredProject Management Professional certification desired This description is not a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that may be required of the employee and other duties, responsibilities and activities may be assigned or may be changed at any time with or without notice.
