
Planner/Scheduler

- Act on order release actions and exception messages from SAP; collaborate with planner/buyer to review backlogs and meet Systems & Spares manufacturing requirements.
- Identify and escalate potential scheduling constraints (e.g., resource limitations, capacity issues, component shortages) to management and manufacturing teams to minimize production disruptions.
- Communicate proactively regarding component/sub-assembly availability and delivery commitments to customer service and manufacturing to reduce backorders.
- Review and process Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).
- Coordinate with buyers, planners, and warehouse personnel to execute ECNs as part of the Change In Board (CIB) process.
- Review and process Material Review Board (MRB) notifications based on material disposition and assess impact on material availability.
- Manage inter-company purchase orders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Logistics, Supply Chain, Sales, and Engineering.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on production and material process flows; act as a key partner to the manufacturing team.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support manufacturing operations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Experience with ERP systems and planning software; SAP experience preferred.
- Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- APICS certification is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and sound judgment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with ISO-9000, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Juran methodologies is highly desirable.
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels and departments, both verbally and in writing.
- Experience in high-tech capital equipment or regulated environments is preferred.
